The Rope

I don't know what I'm feeling,
As of late,
Life has been revealing,
A lack of fate,
The way things have come around,
The way they have come together,
They've been twisted and wound,
Tight like a tether,
A rope whose purpose I do not know,
What it shall serve,
Where it will go,
I've been walking backwards all this time,
All the more difficult for such a climb,
Now I've been turned around right,
And though it's be a tough fight,
I can sleep peacefully at the end of the night,
Knowing it'll all make sense one day,
A woven rope,
Made along the way.
